§00 / CUSTOM SHOPIFY APPS · CUSTOM APPLICATION

Custom Shopify Apps.
The tool your store is missing, built properly.

Custom Shopify apps for the jobs off-the-shelf apps do not do well: bespoke product configurators, operational tools, integrations and checkout logic. Built on Shopify's current APIs and extension points, never on fragile theme hacks.

Built for established brands doing $100K+ a year in online sales.

Review the work
FIG. 01 — APP SURFACE MAP

What we build.

SpecificationDeliverableAcceptance
Custom & private appsAdmin tools, embedded app screens and back-office automation built for one store or a group of stores.Scoped permissions
Theme app extensionsApp blocks and embeds that merchants place in the editor, with no theme code edits.Removable cleanly
Functions & checkout UIDiscount, delivery, payment and validation logic plus checkout UI extensions.Checkout-tested
IntegrationsWebhooks, the Admin GraphQL API and middleware connecting Shopify to ERP, PIM and fulfilment systems.Retry & logging

Apps are event-driven. Webhooks, queues and idempotent handlers keep data correct when traffic spikes or an external system is slow.

FIG. 02 — DEPLOY LOG

Built to keep running.

We deploy apps with environments, monitoring and error alerts, version API usage and plan for Shopify's quarterly API releases.

You own the code and the infrastructure accounts. Documentation covers setup, configuration and how to extend the app.

A few things, clarified.

Custom app or an existing app?

If a well-supported app already does the job, we will recommend it. Custom development makes sense when the workflow is specific to your business or existing apps add cost, bloat or risk.

Can a custom app slow down our store?

Badly built ones can. We favour theme app extensions, load scripts only where needed and keep storefront impact measurable.

Who hosts the app?

Typically your own cloud account, so you keep ownership. We set up hosting, deployment and monitoring as part of the build.

Can you take over an existing custom app?

Yes. We start with a code and security review, update API versions and dependencies, and then plan improvements.

Let’s make a plan.
