Websites and stores, engineered.
Script & Theory designs and builds marketing websites, ecommerce stores and web applications. Most of our work is commerce: Shopify and Shopify Plus builds, migrations, custom apps and performance work, alongside WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Magento.
We are a Shopify Plus Partner based in Houston, Texas, working with brands across the United States and internationally in English, Spanish and Arabic. As an independent studio, we recommend the platform that fits rather than the one we resell.

Small senior teams, visible progress.
Projects are run by the people doing the work. You talk to the designers and engineers building your site, not a chain of account managers.
Work happens in small, reviewable changes. You see progress in staging, every change has a reason, and nothing reaches production without review and testing.
§03 / WHAT WE BELIEVE
Good engineering is a business decision.
Clean code, accessibility and performance are not polish added at the end. They decide how fast you can change the site next year, who can use it, and how it performs in search and advertising.
We write documentation, hand over the keys and make sure your team can run what we build. If you want us to stay on, we will; if not, you will not need us to.
